Title One is a federally funded program to ensure the success of those students who are at risk of failing the State Standards. Title One supplements the regular classroom studies by helping contribute to the academic progress of students in reading & math. We have a staff of highly qualified teachers: Mrs. Joan Conrad teaches 1st grade Reading, Mrs. Lisa Whitmer teaches 2nd grade Reading, and Mrs. Melissa Johns teaches 3rd - 6th grades Reading.
Parent involvement is very crucial to the Title One program and at various times during the year, we provide activities to help parents become more involved in their child's education. The home-school connection helps to build more successful students, as together we--teachers, parents and students become a great team.
We have an open-door policy and encourage you to stop by and visit with us about any concerns you have. We will be glad to provide you with ideas and aids to help you help your children as they read at home. We think each child is special and they have the potential to become great!
